EmailSenate Looks at Raising Tobacco Taxes in Minn.
A Minnesota Senate Committee has a hearing this morning on three bills that would raise taxes on tobacco products.
The first is Governor Dayton's proposal, which asks for an increase of .94 cents for a pack of cigarettes.
Another bill would increase a pack of cigarettes by $1.60.
The last would raise a tax on tobacco by $1.29.
