EmailINTERVIEW: Snowmobiler Rescued Near Rum River Dam
A 21-year-old Anoka man went over a dam on the Rum River while snowmobiling Tuesday and spent about 24 minutes in the icy water before rescuers were able to pull him out.
Jeff Hayes underwent surgery for a broken back Wednesday and is expected to make a complete recovery, doctors say.
