$3.5M for Minn. Counties Impacted by June's Flood
Minnesota counties affected by severe flooding last June are getting a second wave of money.
More than $3.5 million is being distributed to seven counties. The largest chunk at nearly $2 million is going to St. Louis County.
The grant comes from the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.
The money will be used for water quality control projects like stream restorations.
It will also be used to protect threatened properties from potential landslides
