Minnesota Deer Classic Moves to National Sports Center
The 31st Annual Minnesota Deer Classic is coming to the National Sports Center in Blaine this spring.
The Minnesota sport hunting show is under new ownership after the National Sports Center Foundation bought it from Hugh Price last September. Highlights this year include a new 3D archery shoot, a shed dog event, certified measurers, seminars, an outdoor campfire area, youth activities, and an antler display.
There will also be a seminar about the recent wolf hunt and a seminar about the decline of the moose population, among other topics.
The event takes place from 3-9 p.m. Friday, March 8; from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10. It costs $10 for adults, $7 for youth 12-17, and free for kids.
