Mpls. Ice Rinks Set to Close for Season

For you ice skaters your options of rinks in Minneapolis will shrink starting Tuesday.

Most of the city's 47 rinks and warming houses will close.

Most rinks are on top of athletic fields and can damage the fields if they're left on too long.

Four will stay open through March 3 as long as the weather cooperates.

Those rinks are Lake of the Isles, Bohanon, McRae and Van Cleve Parks.
