Tip: Leveling an uneven painted surface

One DIY Cleveland area painter needed to know how to level off an uneven painted surface, and he got some great advice from contractors on Hometalk.com. The advice he received was to skim coat the lower area of the uneven surface with drywall mud or spackle, and then sand, prime, and paint. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
