Lindsey Vonn Recovers from Surgery in Vail

Olympic skier Lindsay Vonn is in Vail, Colorado with her family now recovering after surgery.

The Minnesota native tore two ligaments in her right knee in a crash last week.

Doctors operated on her on Sunday.

She sent out a photo and message on Facebook Monday and said, "Surgery went very well. It's going to be a long and hard road back. But I will be back!!"

She plans to be ready in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
