St. Cloud Workshop Offers Free Gardening Knowledge

Are you interested in learning more about gardening but don’t know where to start?

The Stearns County Extension is offering free gardening knowledge to community members this month.

Attendees can learn about starting a new lawn, growing vegetables in small spaces, starting a garden from scratch, lakeshore restoration, and more.

The workshop takes place from 8:30-11:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud. It’s free, but registration is required by calling 320-255-6169 or visiting www.co.stearns.mn.us.

The workshop is presented by the Stearns County Master Gardeners and the U of M Extension – Stearns County.
