Ramsey Co. Sheriff's Office Donates Protective Vests to Officers in Thailand

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office is helping fellow police officers on the other side of the globe.

They're donating 10 armored vests to a police department in Thailand.

The idea was hatched when a Thai police officer visiting the Twin Cities said that his colleagues have to pay for their own protective vests.

DHL is covering the shipping costs to get the vests overseas.
