VMWare to Close New Brighton Facility; 82 Employees Affected

A facility closure in New Brighton will affect the jobs of 82 people.

VMWare, Inc., announced plans to permanently close its facility at 119 14th Street N.W. in New Brighton. Employees will be laid off around April 1, according to a letter to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

VMWare is a software company that offers cloud infrastructure for desktops, servers, and virtual machines.
