Property owners, area managers, and anyone involved in rental housing can attend a Crime Free Multi-Housing training session this week.

The session is sponsored by the Anoka Police Department and is designed to reduce crime, drugs, and illegal activities in rental communities. Attendees will learn about screening applicants, evictions and legal issues, how to work with police, how to recognize illegal activities, and more.

Other rental property employees are also encouraged to attend to learn more about how to report suspicious activities.

By attending the session, attendees can get CRMH Phase 1 Certification.

The meeting takes place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Public Safety Center in Anoka and costs $35.
