More Doctors Admit They're Overworked

More doctors admit they're overworked and it's leading to poorer patient care in the hospital.

Forty percent of hospital doctors said they had too many patients to care for safely at least once a month. Thirty-six percent said it happened once a week.

Doctors say that overload prevented them from fully discussing treatments or led to ordering unnecessary procedures.

The study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
