Deadline Nears for Homeowner's Septic System Education Meeting

Homeowners can learn more about how septic systems work at an upcoming educational seminar.

The meeting will talk about when to pump, how septic systems work, how to come up with a maintenance schedule, how to avoid drainfield damage, additives and detergent choices, and more.

It’s sponsored by the University of Minnesota Extension, and an Anoka County Ag Preserves Grant covers part of the cost.

The program takes place from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Bunker Hills Activity Center in Andover. It costs $10 per family.
