SLIDESHOW: Truck Crashes into Light Rail in Mpls.

A commercial truck and a light rail train collided in downtown Minneapolis Tuesday afternoon.

According to Metro Transit, the incident happened at 5th Avenue around 1:35 p.m.

No customers were on the light rail train at the time of the crash.

The driver of the truck was not injured, and a passenger from the truck was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

The driver will undergo drug and alcohol testing as standard procedure.

A portion of the tracks were closed in both directions following the incident, but have since reopened.
