Gopher Dance, Cheer Teams Win Top Prizes

The University of Minnesota’s Cheer and Dance Teams took home three national championships at the 2013 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship last weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.

The cheer team also took second place in the all-girl cheer division, which is its highest finish in team history, gophersports.com read.

For the fourth-straight year, Minnesota placed first in both the jazz and pom divisions.
