Email35E Road Work to Create Congestion in Spring
Commuters who travel from Saint Paul into the south metro will experience a major inconvenience this spring.
MnDOT says it will close all southbound lanes of 35E in Burnsville between County Road 42 and the split with 35W for a bridge deck replacement. The repair in may should take 30 days.
You can expect major backups this spring in that same area for re-surfacing. The official detour will take drivers from 494 to 35W which could get congested with the extra traffic.
