EmailSpurs Face Odd Lawsuit
The San Antonio Spurs are facing an odd lawsuit. According to ESPN, a Miami attorney is suing the team claiming that he and other fans had “suffered economic damages.”
It stems from a game back in November.
The Spurs were in Miami to play the Heat.
Before the game the Spurs coach sent the team’s four best players home because he believed they needed rest.
It was the Spurs’ fourth game in five days. The lawyer filing the suit said a game without the star players is like “paying for a $63 Porterhouse, and getting a cube steak instead.”
A Spurs spokesman said the team will not comment.
