Study: Drivers, Bikers Almost Equally at Fault in Accidents

Drivers and bikers are quick to blame each other when crashes happen between their vehicles. But a new study shows they're almost equally at fault.
Ten years of data presented to the Minneapolis City Council shows the actions of bikers contributed to 59 percent of bike-car accidents. That's compared to 64 percent for drivers. Sometimes both share the blame.
The report also breaks down where most crashes happen.
