Exhibit at State Capitol Honors Holocaust Survivors

There was an emotional ceremony at the Minnesota State Capitol Tuesday as Minnesota observed International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The event was about more than just speeches and stories. A photography exhibit called "Transfer of Memory" was on display. The work by local artist David Sherman honors local Holocaust survivors who came to Minnesota with hope for a better life.

The exhibit will hang in the north corridor of the capitol through Friday. It's free and open to the public.
