The flu is blamed for killing 27 people in Minnesota.
Saturday, family and friends gathered to remember one of its youngest victims. The funeral for 14-year-old Carly Christenson was held in Saint Louis Park.
She was hospitalized on Christmas Eve.
A Saint Louis Park school official says Carly did get a vaccine. But she was still diagnosed with influenza A.
