Community CPR Classes Continue in Mahtomedi

Mahtomedi community members can learn the basics of CPR at classes.

The Mahtomedi Fire Department is offering the American Heart Association class for those who need a credential or those who just want to learn this important skill.

The Heart Saver CPR class covers adults, child, and infant CPR as well as airway obstruction. It meets the criteria for those who need a credential – like day care providers, police, and lifeguards.

A refresher class is offered at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, and a new class is offered at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. It costs $55.

For community members who want to know CPR skills but don’t need credentials, a free class is offered from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27.
