Cash Reward Offered in Minnetonka Burglaries

Cash rewards are being offered after several daytime break-ins in Minnetonka.
Police say six burglaries have happened since December 2nd. They usually take place in the afternoon or early evening hours.
Police say the suspect breaks a window to gain entry and then takes items like electronics and jewelry. No suspect descriptions were available.
The burglaries have been reported on Sherwood Lane, Archwood Road, Emerald Trail, Overlook Drive and West Oaks Drive.
The Minnetonka Police Department is offering the following tips:
- Be watchful and aware of suspicious activity, vehicles and individuals in your neighborhood.
- If you notice an unfamiliar car parked on your street or in a neighbors driveway call 911.
- If you are leaving your home for any amount of time make your home appear occupied by leaving a light and/or radio on.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and convictions in these cases. The Minnetonka Police Department is offering a cash reward as well.
