INTERVIEW: 'River of Goods' Helps Superstorm Sandy Victims

Superstorm Sandy destroyed many homes on the East Coast in late October. Just this week, some families in New Jersey who lost everything were finally able to go home and witness the destruction. People all over the region are still trying to piece together their lives.

One family lost almost everything – including a treasured Tiffany-style lamp that they considered a “beacon of hope” for their home. The makers of the lamp – who are based out of the Twin Cities – decided to deliver more than 200 lamps to the folks of New Jersey so more families could have a “beacon of hope” as they recover.
