EmailSurly Gets Cleanup Grant for Brewery Site
Surly Brewing's dream to build a major brewery in Minneapolis has picked up some key funding.
The Met Council approved more than half a million dollars to deal with environmental testing and soil work at an 8-acre sight just north of University Avenue near the U of M campus.
The planned development includes a brewery, restaurant, retail store and indoor and outdoor entertainment space.
