Crews Repair Roads to Prevent Rain-Freeze Damage
Crews are working now to seal cracks and potholes in area roads before a predicted rain and a quick drop in temperatures this weekend.
Minnesota Department of Transportation Spokesman Kent Barnard says they are hoping to prevent road damage before it begins.
"Right now what we're trying to do is get out and do some pothole patching, and patching some larger crevasses in the pavement," Barnard said. "Hopefully we won't get that moisture going down into the sub-soil and then freezing."
