EmailLonnie Dupre Begins 3rd Attempt at Alaska Climb
Hopefully the third time will be the charm for Minnesota explorer Lonnie Dupre.
His third climbing attempt in Alaska is now underway.
Dupre left from his base camp where the air temperature is minus five Wednesday. He wants to be the first person to reach the summit of Denali by himself in January.
The explorer had to turn back the previous two years because of dangerous weather conditions.
