SLIDESHOW: Partially Submerged Houseboat on Mississippi River

A two-story houseboat was seen partially submerged in the Mississippi River near Nicollet Island Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office says the 30 to 40 foot boat was moored when it started to take on water Tuesday morning.

It's not known at this time why it began taking on water or how long it has been on the river.

The owner will need to remove it from the river.
