Authorities ID Eagan Man Who Died After Fight with Roommate

Authorities have identified the 36-year-old man who died Tuesday after an altercation at an Eagan apartment.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the man as Jonathan Lahr of Eagan.

According to the Eagan Police Department, officers were dispatched to an apartment building on the 4500 block of Slater Road.

The caller, 28-year-old Samuel Walter Peterson, told the dispatcher he had been fighting with his roommate, later identified as Lahr.

Lahr was unresponsive at the time of the call, and died at the scene.

Peterson, and two others were questioned by police.

Peterson was taken into custody.

Police are investigating this case as a homicide, and believe alcohol was a factor.
