33-Year-Old Dies in Snowmobile Crash Near Melrose

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says a 33-year-old man has died in a snowmobile accident after hitting a tree.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday in Melrose Township. The cause is under investigation, but authorities say alcohol may be a factor.
