Mercy Hospital Welcomes 1st Twin Cities Baby of 2013

The first Twin Cities baby to be born in 2013 was a boy at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

Christina and Jason Negus are the parents of the child, who was born at 12:18 a.m. Tuesday. Charles Woodrow Negus is 21.5 inches long and weighs 8-pounds, 3-ounces.

Charles was introduced to the public at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy Hospital.
