Minneapolis Man Charged in Stabbing of Neighbor

A 34-year-old Minneapolis man is charged in the deadly stabbing of a man.
Rick Martinez, also known as Andrew Riyadh Terrell, was charged with second degree murder.
According to the criminal complaint, Minneapolis Police were dispatched Dec. 29 around 5:30 p.m. to the 5700 block of 33rd Avenue South on a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found a man lying unconscious in a pool of blood. The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later died.
A witness told authorities Martinez and the victim were neighbors and had been arguing all day. The witness reported seeing Martinez stab the victim with a knife.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
