AAA: Minnesota Winters Great Practice for Teens

Minnesota winters aren’t ideal for commuters, but AAA says they’re great for teens.

Slick roads give young drivers the opportunity to practice and become safer drivers. AAA says parents should help their teen drivers learn the skills they need to drive on snowy and icy roads; that way new drivers will be prepared to drive out on their own when winter hits.

Minnesota law requires 30 hours of supervised practice driving before teens can take their driver’s test.
