Judge taps his own experience with drunk drivers
In late January, a pilot project for drunk drivers who are repeat offenders started in the court room of Hennepin County Judge John Holahan.
This judge taps into his own experiences. He has battled and triumphed over alcoholism. So, as offenders report in every week, they face a judge who also is a jury of their peers.
