'Grinch' Steals Christmas Presents from New Brighton Home

The Grinch has tried to steal Christmas from one New Brighton family.

Police say someone broke into a home on the 3200 block of Rice Creek Terrace and stole all of the Christmas presents for the kids. It happened between 5 and 9 p.m. Monday.

Police say burglars who strike during the daytime often knock on the door of the house to see if someone is home. If no one answers, they force their way inside.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity is asked to immediately call 911.
