Gopher Athletic Coaches are the 2 Highest Paid Employees at U

The University of Minnesota’s basketball and football coaches are the two highest paid employees at the university.
The St. Cloud Times found that basketball coach Tubby Smith earned nearly $1.9 million for the fiscal year, which ended in June.
Football coach Jerry Kill made more than $1.2 million.
The third highest paid was university president Eric Kaler with just more than $588,000.
