Voyageurs Considering Overnight Stays

Voyageurs National Park officials want to know what people’s opinions about proposed new fees for overnight stays. Park officials are holding a public meeting at the Maple Grove Parks and Rec Community Center at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 15. They want to talk about a proposal to launch a campsite reservation system, and start charging an overnight fee. Currently, the only access to campsites in Voyageurs is by boat, and they're available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
