JOB TITLE: Account Manager. Innovation Team
COMPANY: KSTP-TV, Sales-General
SCHEDULE: 8:30am - 5:00pm M-F, Occasional evenings & weekends for client entertainment
STATUS: Full Time, Salaried
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum two years experience in sales required
- Knowledge of the local marketplace preferred
- Ability to use marketing, sales promotions and research provided by the station
- Computer skills necessary
- College degree preferred
- Knowledge of the Twin Cities area, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and a safe driving history as determined by The Company (driving record will be checked)
DUTIES:
- Responsible for managing clients and developing new business relationships for KSTCTV, CH 45, Minnesota State High School League and subchannels MeTV & AntennaTV
- Successful candidate will manage a client list and be required to develop new business and advertising agency relationships
- Responsible for all aspects of handling local accounts including making budget goals, preparing and presenting presentations, establishing solid relationships and prospecting new clients
