Harteau Sworn in as New Mpls. Police Chief

Janeé Harteau has been sworn in as the new police chief of Minneapolis.

The ceremony took place at 12:30 in the City Hall Rotunda. Harteau takes over from Tim Dolan, who retired in November.

She won unanimous approval from the City Council on Friday.

Harteau has been a member of the Minneapolis police force since 1987, when she was 22-years-old.
