INTERVIEW: 'Minnesota Book of Skills'

Do you have the skills to be a Minnesotan? Making a snow fort and catching and filleting a fish are just a couple skills you might be able to learn from a local author’s new book.

Chris Niskanen, “MN Book of Skills” author, joined KSTP to talk about his new book.

He took all of the common questions like how to dress in layers, how to fillet a walleye and put them between two covers and added a more, Niskanen said.

Things like finding out how ice is safe, especially at this time of year, was something Niskanen said he talks about in the book too.

If people are interested in how to build a backyard hockey rink or trying to harvest wild rice, the book has tips.
