EmailMoon Rocks, Flag Delivered to Minnesota Historical Society
Moon rocks from the Apollo 11 mission of 1969 that had been in storage at the Minnesota National Guard have been delivered to the Minnesota Historical Society.
The rocks were a gift to the state from then President Richard Nixon.
Along with the rocks, a Minnesota flag carried aboard Apollo 11 was handed over during a ceremony Wednesday.
