28-Year-Old Man Charged in Minneapolis Homicide

A suspect has been charged in the death of a man who died on a Minneapolis street.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to a call of shots fired Nov. 21 at 11:55 p.m. in the area of 26th Avenue and 3rd Street North.

Police found an unconscious man at the scene. The man, later identified as Richard Jinkins, had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Minneapolis Police, 28-year-old Jermaine Harris was arrested Nov. 26, and charged with second degree murder.
