Minn. Orchestra Musicians Call for Analysis of Finances

The locked out musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra are calling for an independent analysis into the orchestra's finances.

That's in response to a Star Tribune article that musicians say shows the orchestra hid financial problems while requesting bonding money from the state legislature from 2009 to 2011.

The musicians say the audits done so far haven't been enough.

The musicians have been locked out since October 1st when their contract expired. No new talks are planned.

The locked out musicians of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra have added two performances to their holiday schedule.

Those musicians will partner with the Minnesota Chorale to perform "Handel's Messiah".
