Dropped Passes Piled Up in Vikings Loss

The Minnesota Vikings have been in prime position to grab a playoff spot. Instead, they're dropping the ball.

The Vikings (6-5) remain tied with two other teams for the second NFC wild card spot, though they've lost to both Seattle and Tampa Bay and would lose a tiebreaker to them. But their ugly performance in Sunday's loss at Chicago put a big dent in their goal of becoming the surprise winner of the NFC North.

Several passes slipped through the hands of Vikings receivers, one of the most glaring problems. Coach Leslie Frazier says the drops were "unacceptable," hurting the team's continuity.  Minnesota plays at Green Bay this Sunday.
