Bloomington Man Charged in Deadly Shooting

A Bloomington man is facing a murder charge Wednesday in the shooting death of a 33-year-old man.
According to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, 22-year-old Brandon Lovelle Verse was charged with second-degree murder in the deadly shooting of Koley Banks.
According to authorities, Verse flagged down a car Banks was riding in near the 2000 block of Pillsbury Avenue in Minneapolis and asked for a cigarette.
Verse pulled out a gun and allegedly fired a shot at Banks.
Banks was taken to the hospital where he later died.
