LIST: Where to Shop for Trees in MN

Christmas is fast approaching and it's time to start shopping for that tree.

Jan Donelson, Executive Director of the Minnesota Christmas Tree Association, tells KSTP.com, "This year's crop is the best its been in a long time". She said the rain was really good and timely during the growing season. "Trees are full and lush," said Donelson.

As for the price of trees this year, Donelson says they are about the same despite an increase of costs to growers.

She says the price of your tree will depend on what you are looking for and the quality. On average, a tee will run you roughly $50. If you want to go exotic and big, a 15 foot tree will cost about $200.
