KSTP.com's Cory Kampschroer spoke with Rasmussen College School of Business Chair Soma Jurgensen on the best ways to prepare for holiday shopping.

Jurgensen says the best plan of attack is to do your research and plan ahead of your shopping trip.

She recommends using the following sites:

Shopzilla.com

• To compare prices from different kinds of retailers including independent companies

Google.com/shopping

• To compare products, ratings, base prices, shopping, tax and retailers

Nextag.com

• Allows you to search for more than just products including sports tickets, travel, concerts and magazine subscriptions.

Jurgensen says using your mobile device in a store can be a great way to get deals with price matching.
