As it gets colder, more families will turn on their gas fireplaces. According to the 2012 Health Consumer Survey, more than half of the households with gas fireplaces aren’t aware of the risk of burns from touching the front of the glass.
Reed Gnos with Quanex Building Products and Rodger Holland with the Hearth Patio and Barbecue Association joined KSTP Monday to talk about what the industry is doing to protect young children and others from burns.
