Minnesota ski resorts across the state are making snow and starting to open.
Afton Alps: Regular hours and rates start Friday, Nov. 21
Buck Hill: Saturday, Nov. 22 - 23: 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday, Nov. 24th & Tuesday, Nov. 25: 3 p.m.-9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26: 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Thanksgiving Day: Closed, Friday, Nov. 28 (Holiday Hours & Rates): 9 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 29 regular hours begin
Mount Kato: Making snow. Open. Check website for hours and rates.
Welch Village: Making snow. Opening Friday Nov. 21 to Sunday Nov. 23.
Powder Ridge: Open Friday, Nov. 21 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Trollhaugen: Making snow. Open with limited hours. Check the website.
Buena Vista: Making snow soon. Open Saturday, Nov. 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Detroit Mountain: Making snow. Grand Opening for SCHEELS Terrain Park Friday, Nov. 21.
Giants Ridge: Making snow. They anticipate opening on Thanksgiving weekend.
Lutsen Mountains: Making snow. Projecting two mountains, three lifts, six to eight runs for Nov. 22 and 23. Anticipating three mountains, 15+ runs for Thanksgiving weekend.
Buck Hill starts making snow with new Bluetooth-operated snow machines.
