EmailFirefighters Battle Shredded Tire Fire in N. Minneapolis
Big flames and smoke shot into the air at a tire pile in Minneapolis overnight Thursday.
The fire happened on Washington Avenue North near Dowling Avenue around 3:07 a.m. Flames were reaching at least 100 feet into the air.
Authorities don’t know how it started yet. They worked into Friday morning to keep the fire from spreading to another pile.
The same area burned earlier this month.
