Hundreds of Minn. Natl' Guard Soldiers Wait on Pay

Hundreds of Minnesota National Guard soldiers who have been waiting for pay they earned serving in Iraq and Kuwait, will have to wait longer.

The pay, due to more than 800 Red Bull soldiers, still hasn't gone out due to 'technicalities.'

The soldiers earned the pay by serving extra-long deployments in 2011.

Congressman John Kline calls the delay unacceptable. He says, "I'm not at all happy about how the bureaucracy and red tape that exists over at the Pentagon has been allowed to hurt the men and women that have gone over there and made these sacrifices. It's just wrong."

The payments range from hundreds to thousands of dollars, and might be delayed until next month.
